Some men already call this era “the woman’s century” – for good reasons: Women today are more educated than men globally and conquer one academic field after another. The next bastion is the leadership profession because women by design have a natural flair for many of the qualities of 21st century leadership. Does that mean you have to fight to keep your seat on the top of society? No. Fight is not the solution. Instead, you need to activate your full masculine power, and elevate its quality so you can become an equal partner to the feminine power that is waking up. Modern women are extraordinarily strong. My recommendation for you is to be that too. Not only at work, also at home and in the world. So you can co-create the collaborative society. But it requires a new mindset. And for most people, the journey goes through shedding old habits and developing new ones. Just as the women are undergoing transformation to create a better world for themselves and others, you must also be willing to try new ways to open for the hidden, forgotten resources that time calls for, for example, heart and spirit. The rules of the game have changed, and the winners of the past are at high risk of becoming the losers of the future. At the same time, there is an unprecedented need for knights to help protect humanity from exponential technology, inequality and tyranny. The war of the sexes is over: we are all in the same boat, and the only way we can create the solutions that are needed now is to cooperate.
The time has come to update our gender consciousness Around the turn of the century, the ideal man was a John Wayne kind of guy who went “hunting” and outsourced emotions to the woman at home. Then came 1968 and men learned that they too can go for their passions and are allowed to feel. The good thing was that we learned that both sexes contain all characteristics. Men also contain the female, and women also contain the male. The downside was that we confused “equal” with “alike.” Consequently, many women traded their feminine energy to adapt to a masculine labor market and many men abandoned their masculine power to adapt to women’s demand for “soft” men. As a result, most modern men are confused about who they should be. Over half get divorced. And many do not achieve the success they are dreaming about. Now that we have learned from the past and knowing what the future requires, we can see that all sexes have an interested in unfolding their full self. Women must regain their feminine power without losing their masculine muscles. And men must become familiar with their feminine side – for example sensitivity and spirituality – without giving up on their testosterone and rationality. After 15 years, where I have trained women to regain their feminine power while maintaining a loving relationship with the masculine inside and outside themselves, it has become time to invite men to dance. If it´s only women who are devoted to a new consciousness, the distance between the sexes becomes too big. Time, the women, the children – yes, even companies and communities – long for modern men to bring their inner hero forth. Do you want to answer that call?
